First Affordable Housing Units Handed Over

April 9, 2020 saw a milestone reached by CK&A Consultancy International Pte Ltd and our client, WorldBridge Homes, with nearly 700 homes of the Satellite City's Affordable Housing Project being delivered to buyers on schedule.


The relocation ceremony was attended by HE Deputy Prime Minister Chea Sophara, Minister of Land Management, Urbanization and Construction, as well as the Ambassadors to Cambodia of the United States, France, Singapore and Indonesia, and national & local government officials.

The socially and environmentally responsible project began with WorldBridge signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in 2018. Nick Beresford, Country Representative of UNDP, said: “UNDP congratulates Oknha Rithy and WorldBridge for Real Estate Affordable Housing Project. The project uses environmentally friendly construction technology, and is the first of its kind in the country is the use of pressure brick, a type of brick that is not made using heat."


Having looked forward to completion of the project for up to 2 years, the purchasers the affordable housing were happy to move into their ideal places to live.

WorldBridge Homes' affordable housing development project is seen as one of the largest affordable housing developments. So far, Satellite City's housing project has sold more than 1,000 homes.

Announcement of WB Arena Waterfront Retail Development

Worldbridge Group recently announced design commencement of WB Arena Waterfront Retail Development, an entertainment complex and tourist attraction to be built on the banks of the Bassac River.


WB Arena will include shopping, entertainment, relaxation and food & beverage outlets, attracting locals and tourists alike. At the waterside, visitors will enjoy a long boardwalk alongside a jetty for water taxis, private boats, and boat tours.

First Ever Affordable Housing Project Announced for Cambodia

The first ever affordable housing project in Cambodia has been announced by the government, which has been working closely with the WorldBridge Group on the project. A groundbreaking ceremony was held in early January, and sales will commence shortly.


2,292 affordable housing units will be built on 45 hectares of land purchased by Worldbridge in 2016, with Phase 1 comprising 20 hectares. The project is aimed at meeting the needs of government retirees and low-income Cambodians.


CK&A Consultancy International Pte Ltd has a comprhensive role on the project, providing design services for Town Planning, Architecture, C&S + M&E Engineering and Traffic Engineering, as well as Project Management.

The Peak Cambodia Breaks Ground, Tower 2 Sales Commence

Oxley Holdings and JV partner Worldbridge Land broke ground on May 3 for The Peak development, overlooking the Mekong River in the heart of Phnom Penh.


Designed, engineered and project managed by CK&A Consultancy International, the groundbreaking ceremony for this important 230,000 sqm development was also attended by such dignitaries as Chea Sophara, Cambodia’s senior minister for land management, urban planning and construction, and Kevin Cheok, Singapore’s ambassador to Cambodia.


Oxley's executive chairman and CEO Ching Chiat Kwong and Worldbridge's chairman Oknha Sear Rithy also announced commencement of sales for the 507 residential units in Tower 2, following strong sales of Tower 1 units from 2015.


The development, scheduled for completion in 2020, will also feature a third 55-storey tower containing offices and a 300-room Shangri-La Hotel, atop a five-storey retail podium. Residential unit sales for Tower 2 will go international next month with a Singapore launch, planned be followed by further launches in China and Hong Kong later this year.

Kerry Worldbridge Launches New Industrial Park in Cambodia SEZ

CK&A Consultancy International are Project Managers and Site Supervision Consultants for a new $100m 63-hectare Industrial Park in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) near the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh.


Joint venture firm Kerry Worldbridge Logistics Ltd recently broke ground on the project, attended by guest of honor Sun Chanthol, the Cambodian Commerce Minister.


The development seeks to capitalize on Cambodia's advantageous location between regional economic powerhouses Vietnam & Thailand. Cambodia's 30 approved SEZ enjoy tax benefits and full import duty exemptions on raw materials, machinery and equipment.


The Bridge Cambodia - Commercial and Residential Sales Commence

The Bridge Cambodia is a mixed use development located in southern Phnom Penh city near the Bassac river. Two 45 storey skyscraper towers linked by 2 sky bridges on a 5 storey retail podium will offer more than 2300 units, comprising 700+ private condominium units and penthouses, 600+ commercial units and small offices, and 900+ SoHo “home offices”.
